Description of the event

HR Club was pleased to present the second edition of the Gala Awards of Excellence in Human Resources, event which awarded the most successful HR projects and the most involved top managers in people development activities.

The jury consisted of: HR Club Board members, representatives of the business environment in Romania such as Mrs. Anca Harasim, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AMCHAM) and media, represented by Mrs. Rodica Nicholae, Chief Editor at “CARIERE” Magazine.

The criteria of evaluation for line managers focused on their concern for people development through effective cooperation with the human resources department, and their ability to secure their departments' financial stability. The best HR projects had to convince the jury that they provided a solution conceptually grounded in theory and ethics, they are replicable and usable in other organizations, and the results have already proven their impact. Last but not least, general managers were appreciated for their general management style and their ability of involving the HR function in the development of the business strategy.

Since HR Club supports excellence and performance culture is built from an early age, a percentage of the amount raised from the participation fees was donated to IRSCA Gifted Education Foundation which promotes gifted children.
