HR Excellence Awards Gala 2020
The 12th edition of the HR Excellence Awards Gala will take place on June 3rd, 2020 in Bucharest. This year's edition will take place under exceptional circumstances, as the Covid-19 pandemia prevents us from meeting face to face, as usual. Therefore, the event will take place virtually, starting at 5:00 PM.
In the opening of the Gala, we are honored to have a special guest, Dave Ulrich, Rensis Likert Professor of Business la Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, who will speak about HR’s Role in Emerging from the Corona Virus Crisis: The principles, targets, and HR actions for successfully moving forward. The global pandemic has heightened HR’s relevance to business success by increasing pressure on the world of work. The world of work has been shaped by many external forces (e.g., social, technological, economic, political, environmental, and demographic (STEPED) changes), then along comes the Coronavirus that dramatically intensifies where, how, and what work is done. In this context, HR has to continue to create sustainable value. In this session, I will review 5 principles, 3 targets or outcomes, and 2 HR actions to help people and organizations deliver increased value as they emerge form this crisis.
Also, on June 10th, Dave Ulrich will deliver an online Masterclass on the subject of Ten insights to discover opportunities in crisis: Implications for individuals, leaders, and organizations.
We continue to offer distinct awards related to the size of the organization on every HR projects category. Therefore, we will award companies with a maximum of 499 employees and companies with over 500 employees. We wish to recognize not only the large organizations with complex HR processes, but also the projects implemented in smaller companies that have a proven impact in the business.
Please find below the categories we will award this year: 4 categories of HR projects and 3 categories for General Management. You can find a detailed description of the categories and the application form in the Applicant Guide [available only in Romanian].
