Share | Care | Dare Conference by HR Club || 4 November 2025

The world of work has entered a period of unprecedented transformation. Companies are facing economic uncertainty, talent shortages, and shifting employee expectations, while striving to keep pace with technological advances and innovation in their industries. In this changing context, the HR function is clearly at the center.

From global economic shifts to generational changes within organizations, the Share|Care|Dare Conference 2025 by HR Club will offer HR and business leaders fresh perspectives, practical examples, and solutions to stay one step ahead of workforce challenges.

This year’s themes are:

Share

  • Macroeconomic trends over the next 12 months – how global and regional economic developments will impact workforce planning and organizational resilience
  • Agility, maturity, and the positioning of the HR function in Romania – preliminary results of the State of HR Function research, 2nd edition

Care

  • GenZlandia 2.0 – Adapting HR processes for Generation Z – Toolkit for companies
  • Population aging is reshaping the workforce and relevant HR processes: career planning, retirement policies, and learning strategies need to be rethought in order to keep talent engaged for longer.

Dare

  • HR Club Project: For the first time in history, four generations are working side by side, creating both complexity and enormous potential. How can we leverage the strengths of each generation and turn demographic diversity into an advantage?

Detalii sesiuni

SHARE | Economic/Macroeconomic Trends 2026

The international political and economic context, as well as recent fiscal measures, have a significant impact on our organizations. At the opening of the conference, we will discuss economic indicators, trends, advantages, and risks in the Romanian economy.

SHARE | The State of the HR Function – Preliminary Results 2025

Five years after the launch of the first large-scale report about and for human resources professionals in Romania, “The State of the Human Resources Function”, we have resumed the research aimed at providing data on the agility, maturity, and positioning of the HR function in Romania. Since 2019, many things have changed within our organizations from the perspective of HR processes. The Working Group that contributed to this edition of the study has thoroughly analyzed the impact of these changes and included them in the current questionnaire.

The results are important both for our community, in understanding the development of the HR function in Romania, and for each participating organization, which will obtain valuable benchmarking insights into HR practices.

On November 4th, the Working Group will present the first results regarding the development of the HR function in Romania.

Working Group: Anca TomaCristina Anculescu, Dana Cavaleru, Florina Lazar (Dinca), Gabriel Matauan, Mara Ciobota, Mara Stan, Monica Micu, Raluca Gadiuta, Vasilica Solomon

CARE | GenZlandia 2.0

In 2024 we launched GenZlandia, the younger sister of Joblandia. While Joblandia was designed to help high school students discover the profession that best suits them, GenZlandia was created to help us – the people within organizations – prepare for our future young colleagues of 2030. How? Through a foresight project developed together with Diana Stafie – Future Station, we created 6 personas, 6 profiles of young people who will become our colleagues or collaborators in five years.

At the initiative of Board 20, we developed GenZlandia 2.0 with the goal of designing innovative and practical HR process adaptation solutions for Generation Z. Over the past few months, 18 pairs made up of GenZ ambassadors and senior HR professionals have worked on the 6 personas, later meeting in a hackathon on September 29th. During the Conference, the GenZlandia 2.0 toolkit will be launched – a valuable tool for all of us!

CARE | Age-inclusive Workforce

The future needs experience – and the courage to rethink age | Anke Schuetze

People are not only living longer, but also working longer. Estimates regarding age participation in the labor force show that, worldwide, 1 in 6 employees will be over 60 years old, while in Romania their number will triple compared to 2025.

Every day, the Baby Boomer generation is retiring, and with them organizations lose decades of experience, customer trust, and hard-to-replace knowledge.

In her keynote, Anke Schuetze will speak about:

  • Psychogerontology – recent research on brain neuroplasticity at 65+;
  • Flexible work models in organizations and building an inclusive culture that fosters long-term engagement of experienced employees;
  • Relevant case studies.

“Age inclusion in organizations is not a social project, it is a business strategy.” – Anke Schuetze.

DARE | 4 Generations in organizations

A project co-created by HR Club members, facilitated by the Trend team with the support of Anke Schuetze.

Over the past two years, our professional association has developed successful and meaningful projects dedicated to Generation Z: Joblandia, aimed at providing practical career guidance for high school students, and GenZlandia, designed to better understand them and adapt organizational HR processes for our youngest colleagues.

For the coming period, we aim to develop a project that leverages demographic diversity within organizations by harnessing the strengths of each generation.

How different are we? Let’s first take the pulse within our own community with 4 HR professionals from 4 different generations!

What will the project look like? We invite you to outline it together with us in a special session facilitated by the Trend team.
